Language (French) – Grade 6
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The grade 6 French course builds on material explored in grade 5 French. Students will be challenged with expanding and showing their knowledge:
1 – Listening
2 – Speaking
3 – Reading
4 – Writing
Interpret messages accurately while interacting in French. Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate speaking behavior in a variety of situations. In their written work, demonstrate an awareness of aspects of culture in diverse French-speaking communities and other communities around the world. Make improvements to their written work, using knowledge of some of the conventions of written French
