The Arts – Grade 1
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The grade 1 arts course introduces students to the four major components of the arts, they will explore form and function and develop decorative styles and create visual art by using a variety of media and techniques.
1 – Dance

3 – Music
4 – Visual Arts
Apply the creative process to produce a variety of two- and three-dimensional artworks, using elements, principles, and techniques of visual arts and dance to communicate feelings, ideas, and understandings, Students will be introduced to the elements of music and related musical concepts that are appropriate for Grade 1.
